After a year's break, the German Endurance Cup (DLC) will once again inspire racers and fans in 2024. In addition to our motorsports sponsorship program - 25% discount on our services for registered DLC participants - we are also supporting the DLC directly this year and are once again a partner of the DLC. For all those who are not yet registered, here are the dates
We wish all participants and everyone involved in organizing the DLC races a great season. We are already looking forward to exciting races.
The time has finally come and we can now offer our Race Mapping PRO variants in the version 2024. As part of the development and testing work, David Datzer #55 was also on the track with various development files throughout the year. In the last roadracing event of the year - the MacaoGP - David and his BMW M1000RR 2023 with our Race Mapping PRO C V2024 were able to achieve an impressive podium among the world's roadracing elite. A more than remarkable result when you consider that David, unlike Peter Hickman and Co., did not enter the race with a WSBK engine and peripherals (i.e. correspondingly less engine power). We congratulate him once again and thank him for all the years of partnership!
Below is a list of the main innovations and improvements in the 2024 version:
With the new Power Mapping PRO, we will be differentiating the K6x generation models from the K4x generation of BMW M/S1000 models in future. After hundreds of hours of development, testing and validation work, we have incorporated the following new features and improvements in version 2024.
We recently had the pleasure of fitting a fantastic and radically slimmed-down R1250GS with Dynamic Mapping and sports gauge. As we have not yet had the opportunity to fully measure an R1250 with a racing exhaust system (in this case Akrapovic without catalyst combined with Remus rear silencer), we also spent a few hours on the test bench to be able to offer the R version here too with a clear conscience. As the exhaust system hardly differs from the standard system, the result is also similar. Many thanks Frank for the cooperation and the following feedback!
... now, after almost 1,200KM, I can report accordingly. First of all - there is nothing negative to report! The automatic gearshift engages more smoothly and, in my opinion, also faster under the right pull, combined with a slightly louder "shifting backdrop" - which is not negative. The traction also seems to me to be improved up to 4,000 rpm, I'm not impressed with the GS at the top anyway, it just lacks power in general. The performance tuning generally had something "sobering" for me - please don't misunderstand - compared to other motorcycles, where an Akrapovic race exhaust did have much more effect.

The next version of our Power Mapping for the BMW S1000 models will be released soon. True to the motto that "the better is the enemy of the good", here are two pieces of feedback from the current season that have made us very happy. Many thanks Rob, many thanks Henning!
I'd just like to say how much I am enjoying the S1000R since we put your tune on there. It runs so well now - really smooth throttle control, and the motorsport bangs that it produces are great fun (much better than those fake PAIR valve burbles). The QS is performing really well now that I reduced the clutch cable slack. With the full exhaust and this Power Mapping V2023 R, I am now preferring the bike more than my Tuono - amazing what more sound and better mapping can do!
Rob T. United Kingdom, BMW S1000R 2022
I was already at RS2E in 2017 with my "old" S1000R. My S1000R (K63) arrived in May 2021, and they said at the time that they would surely come up with something clever for the new model. I couldn't really imagine: the BMW developers aren't stupid, what else could the two in Geisenhausen improve? Everything works great ex works... ok, sometimes the blipper doesn't shift reliably... and the K63 sounds a bit dull despite the Akrapovic... Now I have the "Power Mapping V2023 S"... and now I have a new bike! It's crazy how soft, fast and accompanied by a funny "BÄMM-BÄMM-BÄMM" the upshifts are and how "smooth" and reliable the downshifts are, even below 5000 rpm... and the joy increases thanks to the significantly muffled engine noise... it's certainly not disdainfully loud, but it is much more present. Long story short: Robert and Rainer were right: they came up with something very clever! A thousand times "THANK YOU! THANK YOU!"
Henning B., Germany, BMW S1000R 2022
"So, now it worked for me - the registration of the software change to 94 dB(A) stationary noise for my S1000XR is done. Removal, shipping, reprogramming by RS2E and re-installation of the engine control unit were easy thanks to the instructions and it took all together only about a week. The sample report and installation invoice/confirmation were included.
I was the first one who wanted to register this in Austria, so unfortunately the registration was a bit more tedious. The authority has checked everything carefully and ultimately found okay. Now everything is clear for the authorities in Austria, and everyone else can have this registration done quickly and without problems. Many thanks to RS2E for the support in this phase.
My S1000XR drives as always, no restrictions or changes in performance, only the stationary noise is now lower than before. Great thing. So now there are no more problems with the track choice in Tirol, or who knows where else such restrictions will come."
