IRRC @ Imatra

This weekend the International Road Racing Championship (IRRC) was hosted in Imatra, Finland. There the Isle of Men Top 20 finisher David "Datziii" Datzer could secure valuable points in the championship with a P2 and P3 result and prove his co-favorite role. The nose in front this time was his teammate Erno Kostamo, who celebrated a start-finish victory twice in his home race. For Team Penz13 a great weekend and reason to celebrate. In addition to the two were with titleholder Didier Grams, Markus Karlsson, Marcel Elsner and Patrick Hoff 4 other BMW in the top 10 on the road relying on our electronics services - so also for us an extremely successful weekend.

Congratulations to all of them!

RS2E @ IDM Most 2022

IDM Superbike 1000: This year we are at the start together with Neumann Racing by Tommy Wagner. Marc-Reiner Schmidt was already able to put a first exclamation mark in the 2nd free practice at the Autodrom Most with P4 in the rain in a top-class competition. We are happy that together as a small private team we could show that a bike based on series electronics is absolutely competitive in the wet as well as in the dry. The results:

Rider Fastest lap R1 R2
Marc Neumann 1:37.6 P23 DNF (crash on P18)
Marc-Rainer Schmidt 1:35.8 16 10

Pro Superstock Cup: We were especially pleased with the amazing performance of Philipp Gengelbach, who had to start the race from 30th and 29th place after a crash through no fault of his own, but still managed to win the first race and finish the second race in P2. Again an impressive proof that a bike based on series electronics is capable of winning.

We congratulate all athletes to their results and are already looking forward to the next race in Schleiz in July. There we will give everything again to hopefully be able to tie on to this performance.

PS: For all those who would like to have an impression of this great world championship track, here is a video of the May test in which Marc Neumann takes us on a few laps.

Customer feedback about our electronics and the S1000XR on the race track

With great pleasure we have received the following feedback on the use of the BMW S1000XR on the race track. In addition to our Race Mapping S, André has also opted for the Power Plus option as well as short throttle. Thank you André for letting us share your experience here!

"After one season with your programming I am super satisfied. Everything that has been converted has worked perfectly. Thanks to your good advice and recommendations, riding the XR was a dream. ... The performance of the XR on the race track, has surprised a lot of people. Got very great appreciative feedback from the paddock. Rider and bike in perfection, my thanks again to you for that."

RS2E @ Isle of Man TT

Together with Penz13 Racing and David Datzer #55 we have been working for a few days on the perfect set-up of the BMW S1000RR 2022 for the Isle of Man TT. For us, in addition to the new experience, above all a further field of development that we can cover - because in road racing it depends in part on somewhat different things than on the circuit.

For the drivers, it's simply amazing. Datzii is in P18 in the Superbike class after QP4. An excellent performance considering that he is competing in the premier class on the island for the first time. We hope for the necessary bit of luck and wish all teams and drivers a successful and accident-free TT. Now have fun with some videos and don't forget to turn up the speakers.

Successful start to the Roadracing and Pro Superstock Cup season

All over the world racers and teams show that in top amateur or semi-pro racing a bike based on series electronics is definitely competitive.

Roadracing: David Datzer #55 could prove this impressively with two P2 in the IRRC (International Road Racing Championship) opening race in Henglo and a sovereign victory at the "300 curves of Gustav Havel" in Horice. We also congratulate the numerous other Roodracing drivers who rely on our services for the successful start into the season and keep our fingers crossed for the next races.

Pro Superstock Cup: After 4 races and two second places Philipp Gengelbach #4 is currently on P2 of the overall standings. In a hotly contested top group in each race, Phillip was able to show thanks to a cool head and a flawlessly functioning bike that he is rightly one of the favorites for the title. Again, we congratulate Phillip and the other starters with RS2E electronics for the successful start to the season and keep our fingers crossed for the next races.

Customer feedback on the update to Race Mapping PRO V2022 "C"ompetition for S1000RR, K67

Again a feedback about Race Mapping PRO which motivates us to work on the improvement of our services also this year. Thank you very much Marek!

"I am again very satisfied with your work. Last week I was testing in Brno and achieved lap times of 2,06,4- 2,07,1 in very cold conditions. With the help of the fine throttle response, the bike behaves very smoothly even in cold conditions and poor grip and the rear wheel reacts perfectly. It now also works well with the Dunlop KR tire. The throttle is now much easier to dose and allows me to open throttle earlier on corner exit. The engine brake can be adjusted perfectly and when entering the corner the bike behaves great. I'm already looking forward to the next tests and the race at the Slovakiaring. Thank you for the absolutely perfect work."

Cooperation with stunt driver Dirk Manderbach

Stunt riders have very special requirements for their motorcycle! So the famous German stunt rider Dirk Manderbach has turned to us to have these requirements also implemented in his new bike. For us it was a new challenge and we are very happy that we could help Dirk. Here is the feedback from Dirk:

"In the past, we had the possibility with additional cables to regulate the stall gas, this is unfortunately no longer so easy with the modern bikes with Egas. In addition, the electronics also have various other functions that are not necessarily designed to quickly get on the rear wheel and stay there. So many stunts with the new F900R were simply impossible. So I was glad that someone gave me the tip that I should contact the guys at RS2E. After I tried to describe as precisely as possible where I have problems and what I need, the guys gave me back the bike after a good 2 weeks. After numerous tests I can say that it works great. I am very grateful that we came together and could find a solution so quickly."
