Audible traction control (CUT-DTC), K6x

Improved in V2024!

  • Fundamentally revised regulation of traction control (comparison with series not possible)
  • Audible via modified operating strategy - selective cylinder surpression (CUTs)
  • Lean angle characteristics adjustable in 6 levels according to rider preference, tires, track & weather
  • Control level (fine tuning) adjustable via DTC +/- handlebar switch (if available)

Wheeliecontrol, K6x

Improved in V2024!

  • Fully optimized closed loop control based on the pitch angle detection
  • Improved adjustability over 5 levels and reduced adjustment width
  • Wheeliecontrol also works via selective cylinder surpression and ignition angle reduction like DTC
  • No wheelie interventions >3rd gear prevents torque reduction on bumps on the straight

Injection & Ignition, K6x

Improved in V2024!

  • Full maximum and partial load optimization for smotter throttle response, optimal power delivery and reduced constant idle jerking
  • Power increase up to 3HP  |  Torque increase up to 3Nm

Dyno diagram examples (values measured on wheel) with race exhaust: S1000RR 2019-2022 / S1000R/XR 2020+ / M/S1000RR 2023+
Dyno diagram examples (values measured on wheel) with stock exhaust: S1000RR 2019-2022 / S1000R/XR 2020+ / M/S1000RR 2023+ / M1000R 2023+ / M1000XR 2024+

Split throttle (only in C variant for M/S1000RR)

  • Throttle valves of cylinder 1+2 and cylinder 3+4 open differently in the partial load range
  • Dull / powerful engine character increases confidence and controllability on corner exit
  • Sound similar to Yamaha YZF-R1-M due to uneven combustion especially in the medium rpm range
Sound demo

AFR control (only BMS-O ECU)

  • Faster adjustment after speed and / or load change (see schematic diagram)
  • Performance-optimized target in the upper engine speed range
  • Optimized rideability / throttle response in the low load range and while drive off
  • Reduced constant ride jerking

Engine speed limiter

Improved in V2024!

  • Programming a soft start of limiter action by cylinder blank out
  • Reduced risk of bike nervousness while reaching limiter speed
  • Slight Increase of engine speed limit up to 400rpm, because "soft limiter" prevents from over-rev

e-Gas, M/S1000 (PRO Mapping)

Improved in V2024!

  • Optimized throttle response - see principle sketches: S1000R/XR, M/S1000RRM1000R/XR
  • Maximum torque and linear power delivery across the entire throttle and rev range
  • Removal of unadjustable restrictions on the throttle valve opening (e.g. noise restriction on US bikes)
  • Increased robustness against unnecessary safety shutdown
  • Prepared for the use of short throttle handles (min. ≥54° angle of rotation)

e-Gas, power limitation

New in Power Mapping PRO V2024 and improved in Race Mapping PRO!

  • Gear and driving mode-dependent power limitation for reduced wheelie tendency
  • Improved driveability compared to the standard torque reduction
  • Limitation adjustable in 3 stages (unlimited / up to 2nd gear / up to 3rd gear)

Engine brake, K6x

Improved in V2024!

  • Engine brake and engine brake control (MSR) with fully optimized parameters
  • Braking effect and control adjustable over 4 levels
  • MSR also active for bikes that are not equipped with it from stock (RR before 2023)

Launch control and Pit lane Limiter

Improved with V2024!

  • Activation of more then 3 starts in sequal
  • Automatic Launch control engage during still stand in 1st gear
  • Engine speed threshold at 7,500 rpm with Race Mapping PRO (S/R variant)
10,500 rpm with Race Mapping PRO C
  • S1000XR 2020+: Launch Control and PitLimiter not available
video of automatic launchcontrol for BMW S1000RR 2019+ (K67)

Shift assistant (pro) / quick shifter / blipper

Improved in V2023 for R12x0, F750/850, F900, S1000RR, K1600!

  • Optimized shift assistant for more dynamic and smooth gear changes
  • Increase of diagnostics tolerances to prevent safety shutdown during usage of race shifter (e.g. MCT-Lohmann)
  • Precondition: only valid if bike is equipped with "shift assistant" or "shift assitant pro"

Optimizations for racing / Increase reliability

  • Deactivation of shiftcam system (only in C variant) - camshaft adjusters and shiftcam position sensor can be removed
CAUTION: Torque reduction below 9,000 rpm (irrelevant speed range for racetrack use)
    Dyno diagram examples: S1000RR 2020
  • Elimination of steering angle sensor (S1000RR 2023+)
  • Elimination of side stand switch (only R and C variant)
  • Elimination of clutch lever switch (M/S1000 before 2023 in R and C variant)

Acoustics: Exhaust and intake flaps (in S-variant)

  • Acoustic flap always open while riding, stock behavior in idle speed
  • Optimized Sound and torque during lower and mid rpm range
  • Better audibility of the bike while braking through open exhaust flap
  • K6x models: intake flap always open
  • K6x models: No catalytic converter heating / no increased idling after engine start
  • K63/K69 models: Exhaust burble enabled in DYNAMIC PRO (all gears)

Prepared for common race conversions ("C" and "R" variant)

  • Exhaust flaps and servos can be removed
  • O2 Sensors
(from 2019: Broadband sensor before CAT must remain, after CAT can be removed)
  • knock control sensors can be removed
  • secondary air system can be removed
  • radiator fan can be removed (function stays enabled as long as connected)
  • 2017+: fuel tank venting valve including activated carbon filter can be removed
  • 2019+: intake flap always open and removable without MIL (always remains open when plugged in)
  • 2019+: CAT heating inactive (no increase of idle speed after engine start)

Radiator fan control

  • Radiator fan switch-on temperature lowered by 5°C for more buffer at high outside temperatures

Individual requirements possible at an additional cost, for example ...

  • Set engine speed limitation to individual value
  • Adjust traction control to individual data (e.g. allow unusually high slip values)
  • Stronger / weaker wheeliecontrol in individual rider modes
  • Noise reduction through more closed acoustic flap and/or a later opening
  • Program tire radii of a preferred type exactly in ECU
  • Fine tuning on your own bike on our test bench
  • Modification of engine configuration (camshafts, pistons, ...) requires advance tuning of fueling and ignition --> Test bench tuning recommended
