Dynamic Mapping BMW R12

• R12 nineT: DYNAMIC PRO activation with particularly sporty set-up
• R12 G/S: ENDURO PRO receives direct throttle response and ENDURO the medium analog ROAD

• All modes: More linear throttle response / improved dosing when applying the throttle
• RAIN: softer at throttle pick-up
• ROAD/ROLL/ENDURO: softer and more linear throttle response
• DYNAMIC/DYNAMIC PRO/ENDURO PRO/ROCK: softer and linear sporty throttle response

• Reduced traction intervention when the front wheel is lifted in the upper riding modes (see function overview above) makes power wheelies possible.
• Whoaping due to abrupt torque reduction is prevented (e.g., on crests or uneven road surfaces).
• No kangaroo effect (front wheel hopping) during sporty acceleration.
• In riding modes with active wheelie control (see function overview above), the wheelie is still prevented (during normal riding / not for misuse).
• DYNAMIC PRO with deactivated wheelie control is subsequently also available on the R12 nineT (analogous to ENDURO PRO on the R12 G/S).

• Programming RS2E limiter strategy using selective cylinder blank out to reduced risk of bike nervousness while reaching rev limiter
• Depending on model / mapping variant: slight increase of rev limiter (possible due to "soft limiter" prevents from overshoot)

• Optimized shift assistant for more dynamic and smooth gear changes
• Increase of diagnostics tolerances to prevent safety shutdown during usage of race shifter
• Precondition: only valid if bike is equipped with "shift assistant" or "shift assitant pro"

• DYNAMIC / ENDURO: Activation of thrust acoustics = brief exhaust rumbling when decelerating
• DYNAMIC PRO / ENDURO PRO: Activation of the fired engine brake (permanent exhaust rumbling at 0% throttle) and higher braking stability through reduction of the engine braking torque

• no increased idling after engine start

• Cruise control available in all driving modes
• R12: also active in ENDURO, ENDURO PRO and DYNAMIC PRO

• O2 Sensors 
  (from 2021: Broadband sensor before CAT must remain, after CAT can be removed)
• Knock control sensors can be removed
• Exhaust flap and servo can be removed (if equipped)
• Fuel tank venting valve including activated carbon filter can be removed (from 2017)
• CAT heating disabled / No increase of idle speed after engine start (from 2021)

• Set engine speed limitation to individual value
• Individual behavior of acoustics flap(s), e.g. automatic compromisis according to riding style
• Enabling of launch control (if not enabled from stock)
