Detailed description

Driving modes R12x0 GS/R/RT/RS (K5x)

  • RAIN/ENDURO*: optimized for wet asphalt or slippy offroad
  • ROAD/ENDURO PRO*: optimized for dry asphalt or grippy offroad
  • DYNAMIC*: optimized for dry asphalt and sporty driving
  • USER*/DYNAMIC PRO*/ENDURO PRO*: possibility for individual setup stays possible

*) modes depending on model, only available with SA "driving modes pro" and depending on mode coding plug installed

Injection & Ignition (K5x)

  • Optimized torque curve for stock exhaust system
  • Power increase up to 3PS possible (depending on bike hardware)
  • Torque increase up to 5Nm possible (depending on bike hardware)

e-Gas (K5x)

  • Optimized throttle response in the sporty driving modes for more dynamic driveability
  • Max. torque and power available in all driving modes
  • Remove any existing gear-dependent restrictions

Assistance systems ASC / DTC (K5x)

  • Reduced traction intervention when the front wheel is lifted in the upper driving modes to prevent nervousness due to abrupt torque reduction (e.g. in the case of crests or bumpy roads)
  • Improved acceleration at corner exit through optimized traction / anti-slip control in the upper driving modes
  • No kangaroo effect (front wheel hopping) when dynamic drive away

Shift assistant (pro) / quick shifter / blipper

  • Optimized shift assistant for more dynamic and smooth gear changes
  • Increase of diagnostics tolerances to prevent safety shutdown during usage of race shifter
  • Precondition: only valid if bike is equipped with "shift assistant" or "shift assitant pro"

Exhaust burble (R12x0)
