V2023 Mappings for BMW R nineT models available now

It is always a pleasure to work with all the R nineT fans in the world. The wishes and feedback of our R nineT customers have driven us to improve our Power Mapping as well as our Dynamic Mapping in the exhaust burbe function and the engine brake again.

To match this, here is feedback from a long-time customer - thank you Franz-Josef:

"I never actually write reviews, but after ... two events (Bilster Berg and Nürburgring GP) with a totally new bike I really want to share my enthusiasm for your work. At the beginning of the project was a R ninet Racer, which after a year on the track in original version, wanted to emulate the original Boxercup machines. It started with the consultation with you, which was not only professional and sensitive to the way of life of a boxer, but also extremely sympathetic to the driver. I ordered yes then the Power Mapping 2022 "R" for BMW R nineT models, the Shift Assistant retrofit kit with the RS2E shift sensor V2 and the disabling of the lamp faults.

The optimization of torque and power is noticeable, but as announced by you, with the boxer certainly limited. But with the wider speed range through the soft limiter, which works terrifically, it helps me immensely when I have the tachometer times not exactly in the eye or before the corner then no longer want to shift. As promised, braking has become smoother with the reduced engine braking due to the elimination of the overrun cutoff. But the best thing about the braking maneuvers now is the acoustics of the Boxer - simply awesome. Sorry, but I can't get enough of it and I'm already looking forward to the next corner, when the throttle grip then goes in the direction of close. The shift assistant didn't work immediately after the conversion at first. After good support we were able to solve the problem and it is a dream how the boxer now shifts through. Just leave the throttle on stop and the boxer pulls through with a great sound when shifting. Too bad you can't see my grin when I do this. Simply a super job from you, well done."

V2023 mappings for BMW F900 models now available

The past season has again brought us numerous insights into the F900. On this occasion, thank you again to all who help us with their feedback to always recognize new potentials to make our services even better. After there was no new variant for the F900 last year, we are also adding this year. So we have introduced the following improvements in our Power Mapping as part of our further development:

  • Shift assistant improved, especially in the area of comfort shifting (low load).
  • Improved exhaust burble noise and changed standard driving mode assignment to only in DYNAMIC PRO
  • Catheating (high idle after engine start) now already deactivated in standard mode

Development underway for the BMW M/S1000RR 2023 (K67MÜ)

Of course we want to offer our services as soon as possible also for the new S1000RR and M1000RR from model year 2023. To this end, we ordered immediately on the first day and were already able to take delivery of our new bike. Many thanks to Tommy Wagner Motorrad and BMW Motorrad Germany for a delivery that went smoothly and even ahead of schedule.

Feedback 95dB stationary noise measure for BMW S1000XR

Some customers have already asked for feedback on the 95dB(A) stationary noise measure for BMW S1000XR 2015-2019. So we are happy that we can already publish feedback despite winter - thank you Armin!

"Thank you very much for the smooth processing. Control unit was quickly removed with the instructions and sent and also came back fix again together with the sample report. Acceptance at the TÜV Süd was also completely problem-free. Since I now had to go to the registration office anyway, I immediately separated from the seasonal license plate and registered my XR for year-round operation. Drives like before, only the stationary noise is now just a little quieter. Super that you have taken care of this problem - now I can finally go back to Tyrol and who knows where else such route limitations will come."

Review DLC 2022

We have decided to support the German Endurance Cup DLC in addition to the ongoing driver sponsorship. Here is a review of the season finale in Oscherleben on 8.10.2022 by Marco Siegle, BMW S1000RR 2020 - many thanks at this point - from the Face2Face team.

For the first time Oschersleben this year. And for the first time a DLC race without previous training for the three of us. For all of us the cool temperatures at this time of the year were a challenge. After all, if you want to score points in the endurance race, you first have to get there. So we had to start slowly. Despite little preparation and little training, we were able to secure 18th place on the grid across all classes.

At 12 o'clock we went out for the Le Mans start. Marcel was our start driver. For the Le Mans start, all riders run across the track at the start signal, start the bike and ride off. Marcel starts (as always) bomb and rides right in front. Riders change only when the tank is empty. In Oschersleben, that means about 40 minutes at race pace at a stretch. The RS2E electronics package has brought a lot of benefits over the distance, including the short-stroke throttle grip, which is a real advantage over these long distances. Less movement saves power, is easy to control and is much gentler on the forearm. The traction control worked very well and is particularly helpful when accelerating out of any bend and is also clearly perceptible due to the acoustic feedback. Exit of the Hasseröder goes full throttle over a bump. Wheelietime - looks great, but costs time. Here the Wheelie Control optimized by RS2E served me well. In the race we had to fight with a technical defect of our team mate Hendrik in lap 48, which unfortunately cost us an additional driver change.

After 6 hours and 211 laps we finished 10th in our class. Under the circumstances we are satisfied. In the overall ranking 2022 Moto 1000 we made the 6th place. A great result with desire for more!

Overall I say "thank you" for the great work and support in this great 2022 DLC season!

We look forward to next season and continue to give full throttle in the direction of podiums!
