Shift assistant PRO for BMW R1200GS 2013

After numerous inquiries from owners of a BMW R1200GS 2013 regarding retrofitting of the shift assistant PRO, we have taken on the topic. Since there is no shift assistant PRO available  from BMW in the first model year of the water-cooled R1200, there was a gap here.

We are now able to implement a retrofit solution (more details here) similar to our already known solutions for the S1000R or the R nineT. This solution can also be implemented for the later R1200. As usual with us, the shift assistant function parameters are also optimized at the same time to ensure a significantly better gear shift behavior than with the "original" BMW solution. In addition, we of course also offer the € 175 price advantage together with our Dynamic Mapping for the R1200 models.

The weather for riding motorcycles is wonderful in the United Arab Emirates. So we received the following feedback on our Power Mapping for the BMW S1000 models. The special thing here: The RR is already an EU5 version from 2021 model year.

"I love it , the idling is fixed on cold start , the bike is very responsive from low rpm like 4k,5k or 6k rpm once u open throttle it directly delivers power. The short travel throttle grip also is amazing. Overall I’m very satisfied and will send u more feedback once I race with others. ... Rainer was very helpful and supportive."

New content inside Tech Corner

After we were frequently asked why the wheelie control optimizations are not available for the "old" S1000RR from 2010-14 and the HP4, we decided to publish a tech page regarding this. Advanced modifications for the BMW S1000XR (K49)

With our news teaser from November 5th, 2020 on extended modifications for the S1000R (K47) and the S1000XR (K49), we seem to have aroused a lot of interest. Together with Markus, we were now able to show what the variable intake funnels of the RR intake system can do on an XR (see dyno diagram). What makes this conversion particularly interesting is that it is not visible from the outside and the RR Airbox fits mechanically into the R and XR without any adjustments.

"I made a tour through ... in order to collect as many impressions as possible. On the printout of the performance curve it was already evident that a lot has happened, but you can't imagine the impressions that have rained down on me during this trip. The bike now pushes out from below without a hole up to 9000 rpm from any position, that would be enough for me and so we had planned this project. That would have finished this project perfectly for me, if there hadn't been still a curiosity. So I turned my right hand again up to 12-13000 rpm, and what's going on is really amazing. The bike is really nice now drive from gentle to biting, really successful. This conversion has 100% fulfilled what I had hoped for, THANK YOU. "
