Update and extension of power mapping for BMW F750 / F800 / F850

Also for the BMW F750 we already offer the Power Mapping in the again improved version 2023. This mapping is also available for all F850 models of the K8x series. In addition, we had already developed a Power Mapping for the F800 models last year which we unfortunately only now manage to publish.

Fittingly, here is the feedback on the Power Mapping for the F800 - thanks André!
Thanks again for your work on my F800 GS ... I'm very happy with the result! Better throttle, drives better and I like the exhaust bangs too. Still have fun with your work and that you have enough of it. Recommendation is guaranteed.
Andre F., Germany, F800GS 2017

And another customer feedback about the Power Mapping for the F750 incl. short throttle grip - thanks Henry!
"Yes so we wanted to tell you again that we are fully satisfied with the conversion measures on the GS 750. We have driven in the past season about 8000km. Among other things, it has taken us as far as the Faroe Islands. ... With the "short" throttle we get along very well respectively the handling is much better and that the rev limiter goes much softer is more important than the possible more HP.
Henry F., Germany, F750GS 2019

V2023 of our Dynamic Mapping now available for BMW R1200 / R1250

Finally we can offer our improved Dynamic Mapping for the BMW R1200 and R1250 models, driven by customer feedback to improve the shift assistant in the area of comfort shifting / pillion operation. In addition, we have spent a lot of time to integrate a rich sounding thrust acoustics in the R12x0 models. Finally, the V2023 also deactivates catalyst heating (increased idle speed after engine start), which makes for better throttle response while reducing noise pollution to the neighborhood.

Fittingly, here's feedback from a test customer - thanks Michael:
"I tried out my bike with your optimization this weekend. In the road program I have already noticed how beautifully the machine can be shifted up and down with the automatic gearshift, different than before but what then went off in Dynamic in terms of thrust, thrust acoustics in conjunction with the automatic gearshift was phenomenal. The sound when upshifting and the horny bubbling when downshifting is simply brilliant. That's what a BMW boxer must sound like. I almost had "Pippi" in the eyes. High praise and thanks...
Michael S., Germany, R1200R 2015

PS: Picture 2 comes from a very special R1250GS 2021 of an also very satisfied test customer - Thanks Volker!

David "Datzii" Datzer @ IRRC Hořice and Isle of Man TT 2023

David Datzer has been relying on our electronics for years and was already back in action twice after the NorthWest 200 (see news article from May 14, 2023). Unfortunately, the IRRC round in Hořice had to be cancelled due to a serious accident and Datzii was declared the winner based on the qualifying result. After that it went directly to the Isle of Man TT where Datzii, after a training week marked by problems, despite fewer laps in the race, replaced the previous record of the fastest German on the island by Rico Penzkofer. A detailed report can be read here.

Congratulations to Datzii and the whole MTP-Racing Team! We keep our fingers crossed for more top results, next weekend it already continues in the IRRC Imatra...

IRRC @ Schleiz 2023

Last weekend, the International Road Racing Championship (IRRC) was held in Schleiz, Thuringia. Six of the riders supported by us were able to achieve a top 10 finish. Marc-Reiner Schmidt and Marc Neumann from the Neumann Racing by Tommy Wagner team were there primarily to use the guest start in the IRRC as preparation for the IDM round in July. IRRC regular rider Patrick Hoff - also from the Neumann Racing team - had an absolutely brilliant weekend with a double victory (adjusted for guest starters) and is now P2 in the IRRC overall standings. Special attention has the local hero Julian Puffe (known from IDM and EWC) with 2xP2 results. Julian was on the 100th anniversary of the natural race track Schleizer Dreieck for the first time on an extremely close to stock BMW S1000RR 2021 (with ABS, with electronic chassis) and could impressively show that nowadays you do not have to change much to be able to move a superbike really fast.

Rider Fastest lap R1 R2
Marc-Rainer Schmidt 1:26.5 P1 P1
Julian Puffe 1:26.7 P2 P2
Marc Neumann 1:26.6 P7 P4
Patrick Hoff 1:27.0 P4 P5
Didier Grams 1:27.4 P8 P7
Johannes Schwimmbeck 1:28.7 P11 P10

Congratulations to all, and furthermore good recovery to Tommy Wagner and Marcel Elsner.

RS2E @ Northwest 200

Together with David Datzer #55 we are for the first time in the Northwest 200, the famous road race in Northern Ireland similar to the Isle of Man TT. After a stressful pre-season preparation the two brand new BMWs - a S1000RR 2023 and a M1000RR 2023 - became ready for race almost at the last minute. Robert is on site to optimize the tuning of electronics and chassis for Datzii with the help of our data recording. After the qualifying sessions Datzii could drive himself as the best newcomer in both classes into the first starting group - Superstock P17, Superbike P16. An optimal starting point for four hopefully even more successful races. With P11 and P7 in the first two races, Datzii was able to prove his ability, but unfortunately a repeat was denied him due to a double technical defect.

Placements Superstock: R1 = P11 | R2 = DNF
Placements Superbike:   R1 = P7  | R2 = DNF

Customer feedback about our power mapping for the current BMW S1000R (K63)

A very special feedback about the current BMW S1000R from 2022 (K63) and our power mapping with acoustic package has reached us and we are happy to share it here.

Package unpacked, ECU reinstalled, start button pressed -> bike dead....PANIK; battery check -> battery dead; battery charged, ignition on -> it's alive! Carried out the steps on the package insert -> start of the test drive

Driving mode "Rain", first creep drive and bring everything up to temperature. FSK18 (driving mode "Dynamic Pro), 2nd gear local exit -> throttle, wormhole -> 4th gear, a look at the speedometer raises many questions: 1. how could I get so fast? 2. what did the guys do with the quickshifter? Not even a DSG gearbox shifts so smoothly! 3. did I just cry with joy?

... Guys, I really don't know in which ... fever dream you have had the ideas for this. I test drove the Ducati Streetfighter last year, which just seems like a 125cc in comparsion. What you have thought up in your contemplative workshop and above all implemented is really really sick sh**. With such an improvement in the overall driving characteristics I have not even begun to expect. MANY MANY MANY THANKS!!!

Development for the BMW M/S1000RR 2023 (K66MÜ/K67MÜ) in full swing

Since January, we are intensively engaged in the development work for the revised M/S1000RR models from 2023. After a lot of work on the in-house test bench, we have already been able to successfully complete 2 racetrack tests meanwhile. We can already offer numerous services such as the disabling of error messages / service messages, the enabling of the daytime running lights or our short throttle solution without restriction. In addition, we already offer a programming of the engine control unit with which the resulting error messages are disabled when converting to racing motorcycle (exhaust and intake valve actuators, rear O2 sensors, secondary air valve, tank ventilation ...). For all those waiting for our Power Mapping or Race Mapping PRO we offer a waiting list.

Many thanks to Marc Neumann #36 for his support (click on the picture to start a short video sequence from Misano)!
