News

Florian, Italy, BMW S1000RR 2020:

Here in Spain, I was finally able to test the update of the Race Mapping PRO C from V2022 to V2025. With used tires on day 1, the impression was already very good - I had always appreciated the V2022 here too.
Day 2 with new tires: the electronics also work here ... which was not so much the case with the old [V2022] with a new SCX at the rear. The electronics feel 10 times more sensitive... simply awesome! Neither my team colleague nor I have found a single point of criticism. Simply a big compliment!
PS: Here's a video with a big grin under the helmet

V2025 mappings for M/S1000 models now available!

We can now offer our Race Mapping PRO and Power Mapping PRO variants in the V2025. Throughout the season, we have been meticulously developing and testing to make good things even better. As usual for us, we have tested our development ourselves and also involved racers such as Marc Neumann (IDM), the IRRC champion David Datzer #55 and several others. In addition, in our last test phase, various unsupported customers have already tested the innovations (feedback will also be published here soon) and found them to be good. An elaborate quality control for the security of our customers, which is probably unique in our market.
Below is a list of the main innovations and improvements in version 2025:

  • DTC*: improved control quality and earlier onset when applying the throttle
  • Launch control*: now possible with the throttle fully open. Aim: to allow full concentration on the clutch. Example videos: C variant and R/S variant
  • Shift assistant: further improvement of shift quality
  • Engine brake*: optimized control behaviour
  • Some other minor model-dependent improvements and bug fixes

* Race Mapping PRO only

PS: Of course, testing was also carried out under racing conditions - videos are available here and here.

Customer feedbacks, BMW R1200

So that you don't get the impression that we only do M/S1000 and racing. We also enjoy working with the BMW touring and adventure boxers and of course we are always delighted when we receive positive feedback. Here again are 2 examples of the Shift Assistant PRO retrofit kit and Dynamic Mapping for the R1200 models.

Yesterday I was able to ride my GS for the first time. I am absolutely speechless! It's unbelievable how the bike has changed. The throttle response is really brilliant, the automatic gearshift now does what it's supposed to do perfectly. In Dynamic mode it's really fun and the thrust acoust is brilliant :-). Now I'm enjoying my GS even more and I'm wondering why I didn't send my control unit to you earlier!    Andreas E., BMW R1200GS 2017

Thank you for the prompt completion of my Dynamic Mapping and the Shift Assistant Pro. The installation is as simple as in the video and easy to manage in an hour with a coffee break - no error display afterwards. I tried it out briefly afterwards and can only say: simply awesome! I can't say much about Dynamic Mapping yet because I was too cold, but the thrust acoust is simply brilliant. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to make their BMW a little better. All top 5 stars +    Albert K., BMW R1200GS 2013

DLC 2025

We will once again be a partner of the German Endurance Cup (DLC) in 2025. 4 endurance events are planned this year and, as usual, it starts at Easter at the Hockenheimring. As in previous years, we support all DLC teams and participants as part of our motorsport sponsorship with a 25% discount on our services. For all those who have not yet registered, here are the dates and the link to register (here):

We wish all participants and everyone involved in organizing the DLC races a great season. We are already looking forward to exciting races.

Dynamic Mapping for R1300 models now available

After hundreds of hours of development and testing, the time has finally come and we can finally release the Dynamic Mapping for the R1300. In any case, we always wait a little while to wait for recalls on new vehicles, which have unfortunately now become common. The fact that our own GS had to be recalled in September - after we thought we had successfully completed the final test - gave us another loop. Nevertheless, we naturally did not refrain from subjecting the mapping to the obligatory customer test with selected customers. Here is some initial feedback - thank you Hannes!

First things first: I'm totally happy, all my wishes have been 100% fulfilled! The throttle response and the short throttle are also perfect (it took some getting used to at first, but it's great!!) The sound is finally perfect and the shifting is finer. As with my S1000XR and 45,000km, I am completely satisfied with your software, thank you!

Hannes, Austria, BMW R1300GS 2024

Thanks for another great year!

Thanks to our regular and dealer customers, we were able to support the DRF Air Rescue and the Wings for Life Foundation financially again this year. We are using the Christmas budget, which would otherwise be spent on presents gathering dust, to help others. As a service provider in the motorcycle sport sector, we and our customers live with the risk every day that we are dependent on rapid assistance - whether on the race track or in road traffic. As sponsors of the DRF Luftrettung, we make a joint contribution so that this can also succeed in an emergency ... For all those who live with a paraplegia after an accident, we hope to be able to improve the chance of recovery with our contribution.

Merry Christmas and a healthy and successful season 2025 to everybody!

Robert and Rainer

Development and success in the IDM PRO Superstock 1000 Cup

We have been working with Marc Neumann for years as part of the IDM to continuously develop our Race Mapping PRO in particular. This allows us to test further developments under real racing conditions with a professional racing driver and collect valuable feedback. After a successful start with a podium result, Marc continued to collect points over the course of the season and finished the season in 5th place in the championship after 10 races. In addition to Marc, three other participants - Max Riebe, Maurice Mouton and Luca Felde - also relied on our electronic solutions and provided us with valuable feedback for the further development of our solutions for BMW M1000 and S1000 models.

Many thanks for the great cooperation and congratulations on the sporting success. We are already looking forward to the next season with you!

– so we can plan the batch size for the first delivery and hopefully deliver before the start of the season.

Thank you for a great 2025!

With this news article, we would like to thank all interested readers of our homepage and subscribers to our newsletter! We look back with gratitude on a great year. A year with many more highlights than those that made it into a news article. We also neglected our public relations work somewhat so that we could be there for our customers 100%. The overwhelming amount of appreciation we receive in the form of positive feedback via email, Google, telephone, etc. is our motivation to keep going. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This year, we were once again able to make a donation to the DRF Luftrettung and the Wings for Life Foundation.

The special thing behind the picture for this article: No - not the cookies on the GS! We retrofitted the original BMW seat heating to this BMW R1300GS in cooperation with Motorrad Pielmeier in Tiefenbach.

Merry Christmas, relaxing holidays and a healthy and successful 2026 season to all!
Robert and Rainer

Power Mapping PRO V2026 now available!

This year we are once again working intensively on further improving our mappings for the M/S1000 models. We are starting with our Power Mapping PRO with the following new features / improvements:

  • Now also available for M1000RR from 2025, S1000XR from 2024 and S1000R from 2025
  • Completely revised combustion tuning for smoother engine running at low engine speeds/loads (mainly affects R/XR models), further improved response and slightly improved maximum torque/performance in some cases.
  • Improved throttle response; especially wider spread between "soft" and "direct"
  • Further improved shift assistant for even smoother and more precise shifting with further reduced "false neutral" risk - only RR 2023+, XR 2024+, R 2025+
  • Improved power limitation for even smoother acceleration phases with as little wheelie control intervention as possible (can be switched off via riding mode / ENGINE setting) - RR, MXR, MR models only

And also a first feedback - thanks again to Marcel, Germany, S1000XR 2021 - update from v24 to v26 + short throttle:

"Package arrived yesterday, installed straight away, short throttle grip also screwed on. Everything worked out great [...] Rough conclusion after 50 km lap: no more jerking. I also rode in every gear and really made sure to ride constantly to feel any jerking, but it's simply no longer there. The torque is similar or the same as the old mapping [...]. Apart from that, the bike is much more agile, much more spontaneous thanks to the short-stroke throttle grip and simply rides better. More detailed conclusion after more riding time and with a direct comparison with my colleague who has the same model and the same year of manufacture (standard condition): So when you drive with the original mapping, you think someone is holding you down at the back. Because in contrast to the update, there is almost nothing at all at the bottom of the original! I've totally forgotten that again, the update has so much more power at the bottom and the short-stroke throttle grip makes the bike so aggressive and comes on immediately! In the original, you have to turn the throttle half a turn and then it moves forward so slowly. The bubbling is mega when you take the throttle off, [...] and the constant jerking is gone in every gear! No matter which gear, the bike runs so smoothly - top top top! [...] Shifting is also much smoother and easier below 4000 rpm, much easier than the original. And the cold start phase - the loud revving up is also history. I'm really happy with the update [...] and my colleague is thrilled too! He also thought he was riding a completely different model of the moped, so thank you very much for the mega great work."

Dynamic Mapping for R12 models now available!

In response to popular demand, we have now also looked at the R12 models. Based on the existing Dynamic Mapping for the R nineT predecessor models, we have worked intensively on the R12. In detailed development and testing work, we have put together the Dynamic Mapping for the BMW R12. Our changes can be summarized as follows:

  • More power and torque
  • Optimized throttle response and shift assistant
  • Power wheelie possible
  • More emotion, more sound, more driving pleasure!

And also the first feedback - thanks again to ...

... Andreas, Germany, R12 nineT 2024: "The result is simply impressive. Whether response, thrust acoust, optimized shift assistant or the shortened throttle grip. Everything is perfectly coordinated. The machine delivers confident performance at all times and in every situation and is simply great fun. 100% recommendation!

... Hans-Peter, Germany, R12 G/S 2025:"The shift assistant is perfect. The bumps in the middle speed range when shifting up have disappeared. The automatic shifts almost like a dual-clutch gearbox, so it's really very good. Throttle response in dynamic mode: The throttle response and acceleration are extremely dynamic. The motorcycle has a completely different characteristic and has become a sports machine. Emotions come up and the grin is under the helmet. Wheeliecontrol: ... The bike is nice and light at the front and takes off. In my opinion, the power is not reduced, just as we wanted it to be. Preheating the catalytic converter: The miserable revving when cold has thankfully disappeared. ... Conclusion: I handed in my R12 G/S as a tomcat and got it back as a lion. A synthetic driving experience became an emotional one. Perfect, keep it up and all the best.

Outlook for the R nineT models: we are planning to incorporate numerous findings from the R12 work. Requests for the waiting list or development partnership will be gladly accepted.

Feedback on the V2026 mappings for BMW F900 models

As usual, and already demanded, here are 2 selected feedbacks from the development / test phase of the Power Mapping for BMW F800 F900 models.

Giacomo, Italy, BMW F900GS 2025 with racing exhaust system

"... even though the asphalt is not the best at this time of year [March], it was great to ride. With the shortened throttle grip in combination with the improved response [eGas], it's fantastic. You often find yourself at the bottom end of the stroke, the engine pushes well with nice torque and power. Already in RAIN you can feel a big difference, before this mode was dead, in dynamics it's brutal, it blasts you away - how I like it! When you pull the gears, the engine revs up, revs up, never stops and the intervention of the limiter is not felt, it's just fantastic. The shift assist and the gearbox are fantastic, fluid and at the same time dry and fast with a shot in the arm both upshifting and downshifting. ... In short, I was already able to leave 600 and 1000cc supersport bikes behind me in the passes before and now it's even easier."

Paul, Germany, BMW F900XR 2020 with standard exhaust system, update from v2023 to v2026

"In short: I'm convinced that there's nothing more that can be done to improve the electronics. Shifting: Always perfect now! Throttle response in DYNAMIC (PRO) is now so nice and crisp, just how I wanted it. The higher torque at the bottom is more than noticeable. It's may be too aggressive for others (e.g. in city traffic), but then you can quickly switch to a softer throttle response by changing the riding mode - as I said, it works perfectly for me. The new fan control is also very pleasant, it no longer boils up so much when you have to wait at traffic lights."
