Development and success in the IDM PRO Superstock 1000 Cup

We have been working with Marc Neumann for years as part of the IDM to continuously develop our Race Mapping PRO in particular. This allows us to test further developments under real racing conditions with a professional racing driver and collect valuable feedback. After a successful start with a podium result, Marc continued to collect points over the course of the season and finished the season in 5th place in the championship after 10 races. In addition to Marc, three other participants - Max Riebe, Maurice Mouton and Luca Felde - also relied on our electronic solutions and provided us with valuable feedback for the further development of our solutions for BMW M1000 and S1000 models.

Many thanks for the great cooperation and congratulations on the sporting success. We are already looking forward to the next season with you!

Nate Kern wins @ Barber Vintage Festival 2024

The Barber Vintage Festival in Birmingham (AL), USA, took place again at the beginning of October and was also part of the BMW Motorrad Days in the USA. On one of the most beautiful race tracks in an impressive atmosphere, Nate Kern was once again able to prove his racing class. On what is probably the world's fastest BMW R nineT with individual electronics based on our Dynamic Mapping, Nate was able to win 4 out of 5 races. Unfortunately, we were unable to be there in person this time - but we were still thrilled and congratulate him from the bottom of our hearts on this success!

Roscher / Burkard win the Sidecar Trophy 2024

BMW S1000 engines with our electronic services are not only on the road on 2 wheels, but also on 3 wheels. Mike Roscher and Anna Burkhard have been relying on an S1000RR engine in their sidecar for many years, which was also adapted to the needs of this sport with our support. This year, they were once again able to impressively prove that they are far from being "old hands", even after some health scares. They won the Sidecar Trophy 2024 with 3 out of 3 victories at the beginning of October.

We congratulate them wholeheartedly and hope that they will continue to thrill sidecar fans in 2025.

Successful on racetrack with the BMW M1000R

Today this news teaser takes us to Asia. More specifically to Korea, where we support Adam with his BMW M1000R to celebrate victories within the "All Korea Road Race Championship (AKRC)." Here is his feedback:

Racing in Korea has had its challenges finding a tuner that knows BMW motorcycles. Fortunately, Rs2e has been able to provide a solution that works for the track. Rs2e has been a pleasure to work with to tune my M1000R into a great track weapon. C variant of Race Mapping PRO with split throttle not only performs over stock and the exhaust sound is the icing on the cake. It now is a flame throwing beast.  In past I’ve tried remote tuners, and the experience is a cookie cutter, 1 tune for all riders. No options to suit riders’ needs. Track, street and daily rider is all the same tune. Rs2e was able to provide me with remote coding to modify my bike for options for fuel level, fault codes and DDC removal, it’s been a great experience and giving me bike that has won AKRC Super N race. The after service and feedback from uploading my 2d data recordings has been a step above.

Thank you Adam for this great feedback! We look forward to continuing our collaboration and wish you much success for the 2025 season!

David Datzer celebrates IRRC championship title

The International Road Racing Championship (IRRC) title 2024 goes to David Datzer with his BMW M1000RR 2024! Our Bavarian neighbor has been one of the favorites for the title for many years and has been supported by us since 2015. By no means a one-way street, Datzii has often encouraged us with his feedback to make our Race Mapping PRO even better. David has already had his hand on the title several times and we are delighted with him that it finally worked out after the two races at the Frohburger Dreieck. The following riders were also successful with RS2E electronics:

Driver

Race 11

Race 12

@Didier Grams: continued speedy and, above all, full recovery!

Successful in road racing - David Datzer with IRRC double victory before season finals

After 10 races, David Datzer will start the last two races of the IRRC season with his BMW M1000RR 2024 as championship leader and title favorite. He impressively demonstrated his title ambitions last weekend with a double victory + new lap record in Horice, Czech Republic. Datziii is already using the development version of the Race Mapping PRO V2025, which he commented on as follows: "It worked great with the electronics - absolutely awesome! I felt very comfortable and confident after just a few settings". The following other drivers were also successful with RS2E electronics:

Rider

PRO mappings now also available for BMW M1000XR

The new M1000XR (KM9) has been delivered to customers since around April. Technically, it largely corresponds to the M1000R and so we immediately set about transferring the existing development knowledge and implementing extensive tests with the XR - with success! For a few weeks now, we have also published our Race Mapping PRO, our Power Mapping PRO, as well as short throttle and other services for this bike. The dyno diagram is more impressive than on the sister models due to the stock restrictions. Here is some feedback from the customer test - thank you Axel!

Very ingenious, very ingenious! ... The engine itself, the response behavior, the torque curve, the throttle response - you've got a really broad spectrum. If the throttle response is set to "direct", then I personally find it too sharp for road traffic or country roads, and if it's smooth, then it's almost too soft, so you've hit everything, it fits very, very well. I'm now on medium/optimal. My buddy has the M1000R, we did the test beforehand: 3rd gear side by side, then pull up at 80km/h, he actually pulled away from me a bit. Of course, the MR is lighter and he is also lighter than me - total weight difference including rider approx. 30kg. The other day, now after programming, same game: I'm pulling away now! Up to about 250km/h, further up it comes back because the aerodynamics of the XR are of course worse. It rides really well. Very homogeneous to ride, no more jerking. Also in terms of sound, I can only recommend it with the flaps open as soon as a gear is engaged - it fits. Although the racing management is relatively sharp here - nobody complains [with a sensible driving style]. The automatic gearshift has improved noticeably. I didn't think you'd have to reprogram it, but it's actually improved again. It's a lot of fun :-)
